This is from a series of social media materials and banner ads that I created, to promote Moon Month at Chabot Space & Science Center. Moon Month was a series of Chabot events celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Apollo landing on the Moon, including lectures, our Luminous Moon Exhibit, and a 21+ Apollo Countdown Party. I used a photo of Apollo’s lander from the NASA archives as a background to the text. I added gold confetti to strike a humorous, celebratory tone, and tie in with the gold of the Apollo lander.

The following is a web banner and Instagram post promoting the event. The events were a huge success, drawing unprecedented crowds, larger than had been experienced in previous years even for anniversary events.
